New Years Resolutions.

  1. Get more things done. Stop procrastinating so much Alyssa.
  2. Paint and draw more. Even once every other week is good.
  3. Stay injury free. If I do get injured stay mentally strong and bounce back quick.
  4. Experiment with gluten and dairy free recipes.
  5. Blog more...
  6. Spend more time enjoying how beautiful nature is. More beach days and more hikes.
  7.  Get on the podium in a few of my races :-)
  8. Try more new things.

“No one is born a perfect runner. And none of us will become one. But through incremental steps, we can become better runners. And that’s the beauty of our sport: There are no shortcuts, nothing is given to us; we earn every mile, and we earn every result.”

    1. Yeah number 3 is really important. If anything I hope to bounce back from whatever injury I have quickly. Hope you stay injury free in 2013 as well.

  2. I wish you a injury free 2013 too, and my coach said the greatest way to avoid any injury is to STRETCH after every workout no matter what.

    1. Definitely a good call. I am a fan of the foam roller and taking rest days as well. I've been sorta trying yoga to get more flexible so hopefully that helps.

  3. Oh yes the foam roller is perfect for getting rid of those knots in your muscles. Rest days are great too (the body can only handle so much) and yoga is perfect for flexibility :)

    1. Thanks! I went to Barcelona in September and fell completely on love with the city. It's so wonderful there. I wish I could have stayed longer than the 4 days I got.
